By accessing or using Selpo ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you are using the App on behalf of a business, that business also accepts these terms.
Selpo is a digital platform that allows users ("Creditors") to track debts owed to them and send automated reminders to "Debtors" via WhatsApp and SMS. Selpo is a tracking and notification tool, not a licensed debt collection agency or a financial institution.
As a Creditor, you represent that you have the legal right to contact the Debtor. All reminders will include an opt-out mechanism. You are responsible for any carrier charges related to SMS/WhatsApp delivery.
We collect names and transaction details only to facilitate the service. We implement industry-standard encryption to protect your data. For more details, see our Privacy Policy.
Selpo does not guarantee that a debtor will pay. We are not liable for any losses resulting from technical downtime or failed message delivery. Selpo is not a party to any debt dispute.
Users may not send messages containing offensive language, threats of violence, or false legal claims. Doing so will result in an immediate permanent ban.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes shall be resolved through mediation in Lagos.
